In 2007, this large sporting body realised it had aging hardware equipment, outdated applications and backup software and was running out of disk space to accommodate its business growth. Southern Cross was engaged to come up with a solution which included a server and SAN design, migration strategy and a detailed project plan.
The plan provided for server and storage consolidation, centralisation of its Citrix and Exchange applications and an upgrade to is backup solution. Southern Cross was engaged to provide a range of technology services which included configuration, implementation and migration services.
The implementation has given this customer greater manageability, reliability, scalability and flexibility.
