2009 eServices Panel Contract Refresh

The results of the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) eServices Panel Refresh RFT were formally announced on 31st July 2009. The outcomes show that Southern Cross was successful in gaining additional Panel supplier endorsement to supply Government with 16 new categories of Specialist services – including Strategy Development and Business Analysis in relation to Security and Networks and Technology Architecture, Integration/ Implementation and Maintenance / Support in relation to Databases, Open Source and .Net.

The eServices Panel consists of highly skilled, specialist IT services suppliers who are endorsed to supply a range of IT Services to Government after a stringent process of qualification.  The Panel is managed by the Department of Treasury and Finance thru its Government Services Group (GSG).

Southern Cross has been an eServices panel supplier since the beginning of the contract in July 2007, when we bid for, and secured supplier endorsement for 12 specialist service categories.

The results of eServices Panel refresh expands Southern Cross’ endorsed offerings portfolio to 30 service categories – which qualifies us to supply Government with services to cover  most facets of an integrated IT solution.

IT Managed Service for large Government Organisation

In 2008, Southern Cross won a contract with a large government organisation to manage its Enterprise VMWare environment and Storage Area Networks.

Southern Cross provides ongoing maintenance and support for over 250 virtual machines in this Enterprise environment and has implemented additional monitoring and management tools to assist in service delivery in this dynamic environment.
